If you have clicked on this link hoping to read some heart warming stories on how I had spent my day with parents and relatives. You have been tricked!
The day certainly ain't heartwarming for me in anyway! Since the start of it, I have been staring at my PC screen, killing time and watching some lame ass video off the net.

As I type here, both my parents are having their own piece of good time in Malaysia. As for my brother, he's out since morning, and probably won't be back before the clock strikes 12.
It has been at least 16hrs since I last open my mouth and articulate anything to any living thing. And the entire house feels so extremely cold and dead now.
It's just me, my PC and my figurine. I am rotting.

So if you have boobies and happen to be under the age of 20.

Audiophile mode now.

After hearing really good reviews about it, I finally tested out the iBasso T1, T2 and D2 today. And things turned out to be a huge disappointment.


T2.

Please tell me if you feel that there is something wrong with my ear drums but .. the T2 sounded pretty weak. The CnC box which I tested few days ago sounded much stronger.

The T1 was pretty much alike with T2. Weak.


D2

And as for D2. It's good, I like it. The bass was tight and strong. However, it comes with a whooping price of $219. I rather get the CnCbox for $155 if that's the case.

Months ago, I made it a notion that my senseless figurine buying spree must come to an end for the better of my life. And for the first time ever, I realised my inner promise.

Three days back, while cringing in pain, I finally meet up with one of my other "visual aesthetics hobbyist" friend and passed on(sold) my Lucky Star receipt to him.
This well thought decision certainly did cause some mental discomfort for me, as those Lucky Star nendos will easily be one of the best I could include in my collection.
Nevertheless, it was a huge relieve to throw that $90 worth of burden onto the ground. At the same time, I received back the amount that I made for deposit.
It's was a +$90 to my almost dried up wallet, and for the first time in weeks, I feel secured about my financial status.

Unfortunately things aren't that simple. During the meet up, a mini conversation about "auditory aesthetics" was brought up.

Please take note that I am just a fresh and innocent newbie to the local audiophile scene.
And being a brand new owner of a Shure SLC2 earpiece (which cost me a full hundred), I must say I am pretty contended with its performance.
Not to mention my last ear piece was totally shitty too.

So during the un-intentionally evil (yes fucking evil) conversation, the supposedly forbidden was mentioned.
It was the Shure SE530! The great one that uses of the triple tru-acoustic technology! I know you don't know what I am talking about, but it's okay, I don't know what I am talking about too!



His verbal reviews on it alone smashed mine to the ground, and it seemingly made it as worthless as this blog probably is.
Being "young" and "naive" to the stereo scene. My initial thoughts are...

"That's bullshit! It's just fucking ear pieces! How in the blue hell can two buds that probably smaller than the size of my testicles be that great! HAHAHA! I AM THE KING!"

From that day onwards, I have decided. I need to hear it to believe it .. in fact ... I MUST!
Today, I made my not so convenient trip to JABEN, a local store for stereophiles. (google it lazy bums <_<)
With much audacity, I requested the testing of those "buds", still being oblivious to the grave consequences that I am about to face.
And after stuffing those candies into my ear canals ... I am in love!

Meh ~ I used to think that ogling at plastic female figurine was quite a loser-ish thing to do.
And wtfack, I am now smitten over buds that are comparable to the size of my testicles. Holy shieeeeeeeeeet dude.
Oh and the best part is, those buds comes with a shocking amount of almost $700 SGD!
For non-audiophile, you saw it right. It's seven-zero-zero Singapore dollars. No typos to be corrected

And after reading so much dramatic bullshit from me, my point is ...
Life is cruel. There are just too much temptations that we cant handle.

I declare that I am officially converted from being a "visual aesthetics hobbyist" to a "auditory aesthetics hobbyist"
In worse terms, from a otaku to a audiophile.
And in WORST terms, from a fucking loser to a fucking geek.

Burglar climbs through toilet window, steals thousands of porn DVDs

KASUKABE, Saitama -- A burglar apparently climbed through a toilet window and stole about 4,530 adult DVDs worth around 19.4 million yen from a movie sales outlet here, police said.

The owner of the Bee House Sengendai DVD store turned up for work just before 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to discover thousands of adult DVDs had been stolen.

"They stole the whole display," the owner said.

Police said only adult movies had been stolen. Police said bars across the store's toilet window were broken and the window open, suggesting the thief had probably climbed in through there.

The investigation into the case continues.

It's day 5 of mid year exams. And things aren't looking optimistic for me.

English

Paper 1 - I retained a fair amount of my composure during essay writing, and made an moderately successful attempt to sound profound. I was also lucky to be given a question that I liked.
As for my functional writing up, I screwed up badly, the work was incomplete. It's not like time has been harsh on me during the exam, but the question was rather "sticky", get what I mean? I didn't quite understand what the questions wanted and being someone which extremely low determination, I eventually gave up half way. I spent the rest of time playing Sudoku on my table, which I did not complete too lol.

Paper 2 - Undoubtedly one of the hardest English paper I have recieved in my life. Good thing is, I completed it. But many of my answers still remain to be dubious. Oh, and for the vocab part, I am supposed to provide a synonym or a phrase not more than 7 words to describe "Degenerative". And guess what I wrote? Deformative! I only realised my own stupidity when I went home and check the dictionary, such word does not even exist LOL! The summary part was quite worrying too ... the passage was like so dry and I had a hard time picking out 15points.

I can't care less on my functional writing now, just let me pass my essay and paper 2.

Chinese

Paper 1 - I believe I did well in this part. Like English, the question was to my liking, and somewhat my forte. I wrote a bloody long one on my main essay, too lazy to count, but I believe it's between the range of 750~800. Questioned was quite common and it was something that most students Should have vast knowledge on. Letter writing was good too, I managed to full utilise the last 30mins and spam whatever thoughts I have in my mind. Question was pretty easy too. Yay.

Paper 2 - Will be taking this tomorrow. ZOMG. I HAET CLOSE FUCKING PASSAGE, THEY WILL GIVE YOU LIKE 4 FUCKING PHRASES THAT ARE SIMILAR TO EACH OTHER, AND ASK YOU TO PICK OUT THE ONE THAT IS THE MOST APPROPRIATE FOR THE PASSAGE. SO FUCKING WHAT IF IT'S MULTIPLE CHOICE, IT'S LIKE FUCKING RANDOM LA! KNNCCB.

Maths

Paper 1 - I did everything except for locus, graphs and trigonometry and probability, which makes up like 1/2 of the paper. Since the year started, I had leveled up my slacking skills to 86. My knowledge on the new topics are 0, and my knowledge on past year topics are fading away. Holy fucking shit. It's a blessing if I am able to score 40% on this one.

Paper 2 - I took this today and ... CAN SOMEONE GET ME A FUCKING PILLOW PLEASE, it's almost 2 n 1/2 hrs of sleeping on solid plastic table tops, by the time I woke up, I could feel slight cracks on my backbone. And hey, I thought that only POA and Science was alien to me. But lawl, apparently it's no different for math paper 2. Out of the entire paper, I was only able to answer two questions and the golden part is those answers are still subjected to red crosses. Please give me a 5% on this one and I buy the marker a cookie.

Combine Humanities

Social Studies - As usual, I bullshited on my source based question part. And I guess my shit flew to the right direction. As for the essay questions .. lawl. I left it completely blank. Too lazy to write 1000words just to get that extra 7~10marks.

Geography - I prefer this among the two. As long as you have some sort of common sense up there. One should not fail this too badly.

Science

Physics - Damm, I should have brought my panadol so that sleeping can be easier.

Chemistry - I have learnt my lesson from physics and I WILL bring my panadol tomorrow.

POA

Paper 1 - I don't know when am I going to take this, but perhaps I shall pray to whoever is up there for the next few days and hopefully do well for my multiple choice. The rest of the questions can be left untouched.

Paper 2 - I am supposed to take this today, but as I am able to predict my score would be an integer that's between -1 and 1. I skipped it for my own good.

Honestly speaking, it would be already be a miracle if I am able to pass just ONE of my subjects.
Anyway, I aren't supposed to be taking those dreaded exams. NUH had actually honoured me with a 30days MC.
It's my parents that forced me to take those exams, not for results or any expectations but ... they just don't want me to stay at home and use the comp. WISDOM!
