My desperate attempt to sound intellectual.

Read the previous article regarding strippers and funerals?
If yes, proceed, if no, click on link or scroll down.
My attempt to sound smart begins.
***
Like the majority, when I was first exposed with the above article, I read it with a cold stare with my jaws half hanging and thinking ... "Hmm, that's some ludicrous and plausible blog material!"
But before I was half aware, the gears of my brain worked spontaneously ... I contemplating a little, considered much more. And finally, I left my initial notion in the bin.
Aside from raising our index fingers towards the monitor while laughing at the seemed to be ridiculous article, much more can be done.
Suppress your initial thoughts, your unstable emotions and search deeper into the article.
If you have done so, you would soon realise that the epochal question boils down to ...
"Should we rejoice over the broad minds of the current society? Or should we just sit and mourn at the preposterous actions of what the laid backs consider to be?"
Its common sense to know the very nature of a funeral is marked to be solemn and grievous.
But at the same time, how wrong can one be by defying the orthodox and attempting an adjustment to what is fixed for shady reasons?
Just because it's not the norm and it's highly objectionable by today's standards?
If that's the direction of your rebuttal then, what about the standards of tomorrow?
Or have you ever considered how would the consensus eventually evolve when the future arrives?
According to my shallow understanding of mankind's definition of "ethics", throughout the centuries, changes have been witnessed prominently.
And in correspondence with the above subject, man's views towards "sex" were also changed dramatically by Sigmund Freud in the early 1900s.
As for the future, I am sure it would too. Distinction being, it would happen at a much faster rate.
For the benefit of those that have not realised up till this point.
Please take note that the "attempt" and "adjustment" (Para 3 Line 2) I had mentioned, is a positive one.
It's was originated from nothing but good intentions, and therefore it was exercised.
Moving back to the article ...
Well, perhaps the hiring of strippers was something that's too bold for the current decade, especially true for eastern countries. And people might start pointing fingers on how can this "corrupt" the young.
But why not, if it's something that's lighter, joyous and more importantly respectful as well?
Why must all funerals be sad, hard and filled with nothing but tears sliding down cheeks?
Why can't it be an elated occasion where friends and relatives come together and exult over the contended years that decedent had lived?
I don’t know.
I shall conclude my rant here and allow you to sweat your mind.

Back to my usual tone. LOL.
So ... after reading my desperate attempt to sound abstract.
I shall conclude my post by with a downfall by declaring I am definitely objective against all obscene actions to be performed at any funeral, albeit being a loyal supporter of JAV. Lulz.
I might not be able to provide the perfect and flawless argument against what I have stated initially, but for me it's just a blatant NO.
Call me dogmatic. LOL
Anyway, was my attempt successful?
PS: My thesaurus is crying for help as it is so badly abused. :(
oh well, i would not want some strippers to be dancing at my funeral for sure. chinese opera is much better.

i feel that ethics is what we deem as right or wrong.
But inherently, this stems from our set of values that we believe in, some of which are shared, some are different from people to people, culture to the other.
In this case, it may rather odd in our point of view that they do such a thing. But to the Taiwanese culture, it may seem like he is being a really filial son by fulfilling his promise to his parents. Even though we are all Chinese, differences still exists.
Anyway, interesting that they did it. It's probably because we're not that liberal yet to accept it so i think i wouldn't want it at my funeral too. Might as well give me the treat when im alive
