It has been an excruciating wait for many, but it's finally over!
The sequel for 2007 best anime is finally here. Code Geass R2 is teh win!!!111
Like everyone else, I was a little worried for CGR2 as sequels are normally bad and I am holding extremely high expectations for this anime.
But as far as Episode 1 is concerned, it just too good. In fact, it exceeded my original expectations by quite a margin.
The animation was improved, the pacing was as good, and most of all, the studio did so extremely well in re-introducing all the respective characters. CC is as moe as before too.
With all these included, what more can you ask for?
Of course, it would be too quick of a judgment if I were to rate this as a top notch show immediately. After all, it's only episode 1 and we still have 24 more to go.
Also, anime nowadays are notorious for kicking in extremely well and ending off like a pile of shit. Eg: Spice and Wolf. BOOOOOO ...
Still lets not get to skeptical about it.
If this series were to progress the way it is doing now, hits the perfect pace and and ends off with something that all otakus will be satisfied with.
It shouldn't be too hard for it to be awarded the best anime and best mecha title for 2008. I am anticipating in excitement now.
Damm it, I am dying for the second episode now.
For those that have missed out the first season in 2007.
