Couple of weeks ago, I realized my immense potential in writing and expressing my displeasement with the society.
This was first noticed when I wrote my 7 fuck yews when taking public transport
The total amount of word for that particular post was 1527. And for that amount of words, it would normally take me at least two ~ three hours to complete. Stretching up to two~three days might also be plausible depending on how filled is my vessel of ideas.
But miraculously, that post took me merely 1 hour, or even less than that. On the max it's 60minutes for 1527words. You do the math!
Everything just seemed to flow so well devoid of any interruption.. ok maybe my parents did interrupt at some point of time, but I am sure my thoughts was not.
Was spamming and tabbing hard on my keyboard incessantly, the speed was just slightly slower when compared to my O2jam days.

After which, the floodgates to my pointless rants was wide open.
Rant based post like Can YOU do me a favor, I BLOG FOR FUN BUT PLEASE LINK MEH! and All for one, one for all then followed up.
As usual, the typing process for all three was fairly smooth. The only one which I met obstacles in writing was the "all for one, one for all" post.
Had some troubles with choosing words that best express me, and some of which still have not been cured. It's still posted for your viewing and hating anyway. Haha.

Ok let's not get too carried away with the core of my post.
In order not to fail my long winded opening, I declare that today's post is going to be another dreadful rant which no one asked for.
This time round, I am going to be nice and do a favor for the local males.
That is to fully express their thoughts on the current trend of hairstyle for the females.
Of course! I have not done any national wide survey about female hairstyles to all guys, it's impossible.
Either way, I am sure the below will be pretty unanimous and undisputed by guys.

Oh! And before you decide to spam comments like "This is none of your business fag!" in my comments box.

By now, it's probably no secret that there has been this vogue of females having this err ... slightly short than shoulder length bowl head hairstyle? Whatever, let's called it helmet head for now.
Feel free to blame me for not knowing the exact name. But for one thing I certainly do know is, it looks horrible. Or maybe an adjective that is similar but stronger.
I do not know the exact cause of this horrifying trend, but I do have humble assumptions to make in the later part of this post.
Before that, let's look more thoroughly into what most males think of this.

Apart from horrifying, un-explainable would probably be the second best word to describe it.
This particular trend is so incomprehensible that it is deserving of the World's 8th Wonder.
Easily beating those sand made triangles in Egypt and abstract I don’t know what buildings in Rome.
I mean why do girls like a hairstyle that's shaped like a helmet/coconut? WHY!?
Ok ...To be fair, I must say that I am not someone with particularly good fashion sense and I do understand and accept fashion being an unpredictable and inexplicable thing
But helmet head is just too "over", and it is definitely absurd to my senses. A big NO and FAIL to it!

Moving on with my humble assumptions. Assumptions meaning I may be wrong or right.

The origin of how helmet head came to become a trend was probably due to the rising fame of this local actress named Felicia Chin.

Personally, I have nothing against her at all. In fact, I do find her cute and IMO, she is probably one of the better new bloods that can actually act.
As a matter of fact, 80% of the local actors/actresses can't act for nuts sake, most of them are just there for show.
Still, despite my slight admiration for her, I have to admit that she have caused an extremely negative impact within the sunny island of Singapore.
First of all, her presence alone lead to an misconception in fashion and screwed the hairstyle of many girls.
And at the same time, it drastically decreased the amount of eye candies for guys. Which the amount used to be bad before and it's worse now, hell no.
The impact was immediate and thus being more serious when compared to global warming.

Elaborating in anger, it's not just the weak souls of little girls that are riding along with the tide. The above applies to females from all age group.
I seriously can't and don't want to believe even "mature" working adults are following with this.
And yeah, not trying to be offensive to the old but ... I have actually seen elderlies over the age of 50 with such hairstyle.

Why can't people realise the myraid amount of bad points with this helmet hairstyle? Just to name a few.
1: It looks like a bloody wig.
2: No, you do not look like a doll.
3: Do you realise you can look like a female frankinstein in it?
4: You look far from cute in it actually.
5: If you happen to have a high forehead, please stay away from this hairstyle. Self-explainable.

This is grave, contagious and it must be stopped right now before it's too late!
Even my favourite Taiwan blogger (Xiaoyu) is following with this trend!

People must start to understand that certain hairstyles will only look good on certain individuals!
Taking Felicia Chin as a perfect example, why did she look good in it? Well obviously because she is born with a cute face unlike many others.
Don't even think about looking good in it when you are born with something else very different from hers, really.
Most of all, please get out of the bloody illusion of you possess natural qualities that is comparable to hers, cause chances are you just don't!
Remember this, regardless of how good/bad looking are you, a simple pony tail would probably suit you better.

Finally, I don't give a shit if you are going to link my blog to your friends or not. (preferably though)
But guys, please please please spread the message and increase awareness before it's too late.

I totally agree with you and that hairstyle looks very very awful! The first time I saw it, I totally wanted to start puking. I saw that hairstyle on my brother's bitchy friends and my first thought was "OMG It's so ah lian!" My hairstylist tried to get me to cut that hair and it's totally EEEWWWW, never in my life! My friends and I call it the jellyfish btw and I should tell you the first conclusion that me and my friend came up with is that these people wanted to copy the hairstyles from animes as animes/mangas are getting more popular forming more fake otakus around. Gosh.. people nowadays *roll eyes*

felicia chin's hairstyle is called china chop and the purpose is to make u look like a doll. i have seen a guy having that hairstyle i think in a movie. haha.

another hairstyle that's becoming commong is victoria beckham hairstyle. now everyone wants a piece of that hairstyle.

and xiao yu messy hairstyle looks like aya hirano.
