End of Term 1
It's officially holidays now! But I ain't bursting with any form of positive emotion.
First of all, my results for this term one sucked expectedly.
Out of 6 subs, I failed 4 and passed 2. And none of my passing subjects were above 60%.
For POA, I scored an incredible result of 0.5/100. Only to realised that I "topped" the entire cohort for O level students.
As for English, I am the failing top scorer in my entire class. LOL! In short, nobody passed English for this term. It's normal, considering the brutal marking methods instilled in our English department. Hah!
Well, I aint exactly pissed off over the above actually. Everything is expected and "JUST AS PLANNED".
YES JUST AS PLANNED!
To sum things up, school was a total idle fest for me this term. Other than that, its just cubing, playing of PSP and sleeping. Nothing more, nothing less.
Haven been doing anything about my Chinese O levels that's commencing in two months too.
Argh, and yet I am hoping for an A1. The assessment books which I am supposed to buy before the term end is nowhere to be seen too -__-.
Secondly, even though it's supposed to be holiday, as far as school life is concerned, its not really holiday. Get what I mean?
Life during weekdays will still pretty much be the same.
All graduating classes still have to get their ass back in school 8am daily and finally end the day at 12.30pm. Which is only like err 1hr less than our usual curriculum time?
I rather the school not declare holiday in this case actually.
So yeah it's not really holiday. But it will be for sure that the number of absentees will be overwhelming. I will be one of them.
Cubing
Hah! I am once motivated to pick up that cube that's coated with dust and cobweb and lead my lifeless way of a cubing fanatic.
No thanks to the arrival of my stack mat timer. As leaving my cube in the garage will only prove that my $60 has gone to waste.
The day started off extremely rusty.
My fingers tricks are rather pathetic at the start and I am constantly exceeding the time of 35seconds. Which is the time I would consider to be shameful in the past.
But amazingly, everything just came back after perhaps 30minutes of cubing.
The rust on the ring has been wiped off. And now I am more than ready to break the 20seconds barrier.
Thats all.
