I have been making bitchy rants lately for almost every single post.
And its no different for this one.
Except that this be almost 3 times longer then regulars one.

It sucks to make senseless arguments.
And it sucks big time to make senseless arguments against someone with a higher authority at you.
Well, the latter happened to me today.



Remember the letter with regards to me dropping POA that I mentioned a week ago?
It was last Monday that I submitted that to my VP, and till this day he has not given me any answer to it. It simply feels like the letter has just disappeared into thin air.
Well, being FUCKed up about attending pointless POA lessons. I took the initiative to ask my POA teacher where the FUCK has the letter gone to. And where the FUCK is my reply.
Oh! And guess what, she gave me the FUCKing classic answer of "oh he has not made up his mind yet" and continued to elaborate on why dropping POA would be not beneficial to me.
The reasons for it is really crappy, still I got to eat that crap, cause I am a student and she is a FUCKing HOD, I dislike it.

So here I am, ranting about the intellectual reasons she FUCKing gave me.
List of reasons she gave me. *coughs*

1: Apparently your teachers are not confident enough of you scoring 20points and below for your L1R4. So I do not think it would be appropriate for you to drop the subject.

Okay, according to statistic and patterns based on the previous batch of NA students. I am fully aware that the average difference between the N levels and O levels is a difference of 2points. So in this case I scored a L1R4 of 12pts for my Ns.
And so according to statistics, I would probably get a 22pts if I were to laze my ass around for the entire year. 22pts, in this case, would hardly get me a spot in any poly or any decent course in poly. Ok point taken.
Well, in this case, I do not think that teachers will hold the confidence for almost any student. Cause from what I know only merely 5students scored a L1R4 of below 10points in my school and at least 90% of the other NA students did not.
And on the average, students scored within a range of 15~18 for L1R4 in their N levels. So in this case, are the teachers also assuming that 80% of the NA kids would hardly be able to get a decent spot in the polytechnics and they will probably score more than 25points for their L1R4 in the Os? Am I wrong assuming this as far as when I am following the N level results as a yardstick? Am I not wrong? But again, according to statistic, apparently more than 20% of N levels students manage to score a 25pts or less in their Os?
So in this case, how accurate are statistics again? Or was the 2point thing for each subject a blatant lie that teachers use to "motivate" their beloved students?

And if teachers were judging attitude as an yardstick for your results. Then FUCK YOU. Attitude does shape one result. But only to a certain extend. I can easily name you some hardworking students that scored a lower L1R4 then me for Ns.
And what gives you the confidence that I would remain the same and slack the entire year during my Secondary 5 education. If it’s due to my previous year attitude, then I seriously think you should re consider your retarded opinion so as to not make a fool out of yourself.

2: I am sorry but apparently your English teacher is not confident of you scoring a 3 for your O levels English. So I don't think It will be good for you to drop POA.

Hmm okay, I think I do have boasting rights to proclaim that I scored a 1 for English in my N levels here. And I also do think that I scored a firm and solid 1 for my N levels. Also, I don’t think that scoring a 3 for English in my GCE O levels would be a huge obstacle. Efforts might be needed in order for the 3 to be fulfilled, but a year is definitely sufficient for that task, IMO at least.

And at the same time, If the English teacher is not confident of me scoring a 3 for my Os. It would probably mean she is expecting her students to score a 3point and above difference between their Ns and Os. So in this case, students with B3 would be expected to obtain a C6 in their Os. And students with B4 and below, will just die and fail miserably in their GCE O levels examinations and proceed to the ITEs after their Secondary 5 education.
So according to the my teachers standards I think it would be safe to assume that its optimal for all those who scored a 4~6 in their English to go to the ITEs now.
Am I not right again?

3. Its suicide if you were to drop your POA now, can you imagine if you were to fail just one of your subjects in your Os?

Indisputably the most ridiculous answer she has given me.
You see, my knowledge of subject the POA is at ZERO now.
It’s not secret, I know it, you know it and the entire class knows it.
After knowing this, let’s assume that I would be putting in equivalent amount of every single subject that I am taking now throughout the year.
And even after considering both factors that i stated above, are you trying to say that I would probably be able to score better in my POA a subject which I have 0 knowledge in when compared to other subject which I probably have an knowledge of 50~75 currently even when I put in equivalent amount of effort from now onwards?
Is this a fucking joke? Or is this just a clinched excuse that you made out of pure desperation?
A 4year old would be able to sense that chances are almost 0 for that to happen. I repeat, almost 0.
Please also take note that this is already the best case scenario.

Looking at the current scenario.
First of all, I totally do not have the will of passing POA. In this case, I will not be putting in any effort to passing it.
And as this is an attitude problem, teachers will not be able to help me with this point. Or rather, hardly be able to help me.
Second of all, looking at the extreme, what are the chances of me passing my POA when I have 0 knowledge of it currently?
What makes the teachers think that 1year would be sufficient for an student to catch up with 3years worth of syllabus?

The logical explanations from the teachers seriously bother me.

5.Is your upbringing so poor that you are so selfish in wanting to pull down your class average?

Well, I do not have an exactly poor upbringing.
None of my parents are highly educated, but still they did try to inject me with moral values that the public deem to be ethical.
But when we are looking at the GCE O levels, I seriously do not think I should care on how the class do as a whole. It’s only normal for a student to be more concerned about his own results rather than how the class is doing as a whole.
Who the hell really cares about how the school does as a whole except for educators themselves?

By dropping the subject, I am not affecting anyone's results except for mine.
It’s not like I am directly urging/encouraging any other students to drop it with me.

Another stupid point!

Conclusion
The school does not allow me to drop POA as an subject purely because it would hurt the school overall results for the GCE O levels in the year 2008.
And they are also paranoid about taking future responsibility when I do do badly during my Os.
That’s all, short sweet simple and typical of almost all systems in my homeland.
Nothing more, nothing less.
