Will keep this post as simple as possible.
Just wanna rant on the animes that I have watched in year 2007.
Post will be pictures free due to my indolence.
Reasons of award will be kept in 1~3 lines.

Best Comedy of the Year
Winner: Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei
Runner Ups: Lucky Star, Minami-Ke

Best comedy award was given to Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei as it was the most original among the 3. Its not exactly the show that cracked me up the most (MK did actually), but I tend to prefer dark humor over all the over comical stuff found in LS and MK.

Best Action/Mecha of the Year
Winner: Gurren Lagann
Runner Ups: Code Geass (I don't watch G00.)

Gurren Lagann is truely the most GAR show in 2007. Best Mecha award was given to it easily. Nothing can beat robots that fights among galaxies.

Best Romance of the Year
Winner: Sola
Runner Ups: Kanon ...

I dont really watch romance actually. The only 3 romance I have watched this year is Kanon, Sola and Clannad. And among the 3, I preferred Sola, thus it emerged as the winrar.

Suprise Hit of the Year
Winner: Gurren Lagann
Runner Ups: Moyashimon

The obvious.

Best Sequel of the Year
Winner: Genshiken 2
Runner Ups: None.

Other then Genshiken 2. The rest of the sequel sucked. kthx.

Best Animation of the Year
Winner: Byousoku 5 Centimeter
Runner Ups: Sola

Again, this one is pretty obvious. Makoto Shinkai is untouchable.

Best Soundtrack of the Year
Winner: Byousoku 5 Centimeter
Runner Ups: Gurren Lagann, Lucky Star

I am biased towards classical. The piano tracks in Byousoku is just too damm good.

Best OP/ED of the Year
Winner: Motteke Sailor Seifuku - Lucky Star (I am biased)
Runner Ups: Kakusei Heroism - Darker than Black

I LIKE SAUSAGE!!!!! Well, its catchy and I like it.

Best Overall Anime of the Year
Winner: Code Geass
Runner Ups: Gurren Lagann, Kaiji

Even though it did not win the mecha award, in terms of plot, character development, Moeness, action and everything. Code Geass was the best show in 2007. No doubts.

Worst Anime of the Year
Winner: Maple Story

LULZ. I ARE TEH RETARD.

Most Draggy Series of the Year
Winner: Magical Girl Nanoha StrikerS. Can't get any worst.

I disliked the first series. And i hated the second one.

Worst Sequel of the Year
Winner: Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi.

No character development, no plot, no nothing. ZNT2 sucked.

Most Boring Show of the Year
Winner: None.

Theres quite alot actually.

Most overrated series of the Year
Winner: Claymore

Claymore did not sucked even though the ending kind of killed the entire show. But its just too damm overrated.

Best Female Character
Winner: Izumi Konata - Lucky Star
Runner Ups: And all the other 600 more MOE characters I cant name here.

Female otakus are teh Roxorzzzz!

Best Male Character
Winner: Itoshiki Nozomu - Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei
Runner Ups: Kamina, Simon, Lelouch, Kaiji. No more.

How should I put this?

Most Irritating Character
Winner: Andou - Kaiji
Runner Ups: Sakai Yuji - SnS2

lol. Andou is the undisputed champion of the suckers.

May better animes come to all otaku/animefans in year 2008.
