Exams are over. Not so glad about it.
Wednesday. 10.3.07 8:56 pm
Well, exams are finally over. Officially or not, it doesnt matter.
Even so, somehow i am not too glad about it.
I am fully aware what my upcoming days will be like. Basically it would be slogging at work in order to quench for my material needs.
I dont really know why am I doing so actually.
Speaking from a veridical point of view, my thirst for figurines/anime merchandise arent actually strong to the extend that i would be willing to work for 8hours a day.
I would be happier if I am able to just hikky and home and play all the RPGies i have
had missed out through out the year.
Still, my parents would definately oppose to that. Thats the last thing they want me to do actually. In fact all this working thing started from them.
They strongly insist that I work or i wont be getting any pocket money. And that fact alone is enough to kill off all my weekends.
Not trying to rant or anything but ... yeah. Feel me.
Either way, if i back off and decided not to work now. I would then be in a debt of approximately err ... hmm *takes out calculator* about err ... a good estimation would be $575.
And a new computer table is now esstential to me. My figurines are all cramped together now. And i simply refuse to put them in my room. Cause the only time I am in my room is when i am sleeping. Leaving me 0 chance
Even though i did not blog about it, I had to place my newly bought kotobukiya llya on top of my CPU.
Not that interested in this figurine initially. But La Tendo was having a 30% off sale on it. So i might as well get it.
Now back to the working thingy. If nothing goes wrong, i will be working in bugis street selling ahbeng clothes from next week onwards.
As most of you singaporeans should know, bugis street aint that a decent place. Its filled of ahbengs/ahlians actually. Or in layman terms, delinquents.
Not exactly the optimal job for me. But the pay is definately attractive. Location is good too, 2minutes walk to bugis arcade, 6mintues walk to national library and 10minutes walk to KKnM.
Initially, i wanted to work under IAH as a game tester. But CPF is a serious issue if i do so. Eventually i gave up the idea. Its just SO not worth it. Having to pay 20% of whatever i earn to my CPF account.
Working there should be quite slackish during the week days. So most of the time, I would probably be sitting down with a rubik's cube or book in my hands.
For now, the only thing i hope is to be able to work 5days a week instead of 6.
If so, everything would be then in proper place.
End of post.
Kthxbai. (My new favourite phrase, lulz)
PS: I can solve a rubik's cube in 1:27 now ^^.
i used to dread working part time when i was a college student but sometimes i was glad to be able to do something else than studying and watching anime...
game tester sounds cool but surely i have never heard of this kind position in malaysia. so sad.
